Almost positive this will be one of my all-time favorites by the time I finish it. I love that Cora is a hypochondriac who spends most of her time stuck in her own head because I can relate to that. Hungry ghosts, a deranged killer, unique characters, and top-notch writing. This is so original, and the fact that I’m this immersed in a story set during a pandemic that most of us would rather forget blows my mind.
