On the plus side, this is one terrific book!

All I'm seeing are the same few updates from nearly 15 hours ago. I deleted 4 messages that are still showing up as unread. Goodreads, you've turned into a very boring version of Groundhog Day.

After all this, the ending better not suck!! :D

Wow. A serious WTF wow in every way imaginable.

I was extremely lucky to receive an advance e-copy for review. I started reading it this morning and by 15% in I put in a pre-order for the hardback copy. Yeah, I like it that much.

This book is f*cking killing me....more nightmares tonight, I'm sure.

I'm still chuckling over Options by Donald J. Bingle.....is that wrong?!?!?

After 5 months on the library hold list, I finally got my hands on this one....fingers crossed it's worth the wait! :)

Dark and somewhat depressing but I can't put it down......

I just realized I haven't had any 1 star books yet this year. Granted, a few came close but I found enough redeeming qualities to round them up to 2 stars. Hmmm, wonder if I can make it to the end of the year?!?!

I just read a review that claims this book to be "Fast Paced." It's taken me three days to get to page 58. Please tell me when the pace picks up, as it's due back at the library in 7 days.

I usually don't add updates as I read, but damn, this is a lot better than I thought it would be!! The ending better not suck, lol!

Today I asked my teen son what we should do this week, since it's summer vacation and the weather is total crap. His response was quick: "We need to go to Powell's (Powell's City of Books in Portland, OR), we haven't been there in a long time."

Just ordered some Chad Lutzke and Keanan Patrick Burke.....the five books are meant for my Halloween reading, but I'm pretty sure I'll be reading them much sooner!! **starting countdown until packages arrive** :)

I needed a break from all the dark, depressing dramas I've been reading lately. Nice change of pace!! :D

I just received my ARC giveaway win of American Predator by Maureen Callahan......can't wait to start it tomorrow!!

I think the author meant well, but I really don't know if I can finish this shit. I can guarantee my childhood friend J. wasn't "bored" when he took his life in his parents garage, not to mention other loved ones who have chosen this and left us behind, bewildered, hurt, angry......so far, this book has been a slap in the face to those who have lost loved ones to suicide and those who have lived it.

I think the author is a bit disturbed......and I like it!!!

The next time anyone sees me picking up the latest over-rated chick-lit "psychological thriller"....please...... :D
