May not finish ...it's like a romance author tried to make it a thriller...maybe teens may like this better. It references serial killers because the main character is obsessed ...but it's like cheesy..I can see someone who doesn't read thrillers enjoying this more

I'm actually really enjoying this one but I thinks it's because it's distracting me from the actual mystery

Okay..so I suggested this series for my book club and now I'm stuck ..it is a slow burn but I get lost on the technical stuff..it feels boring for me as I play detective ..with that said, the writing is very easy to get through. Although I'm like wtf about the plot it is an easy read..I noticed I read more pages than I thought

I like the chapters that are pov from someone who has been watching Emma and being her karma. I think they are looking for revenge. Before we confirmed they hurt people ..they mentioned a motherly love but what we know now, it has to be a man. Lisa is also on my radar. She has a traumatic brain injury but I'm sus about the doc..I feel like they are taking charge of the narrative. However he could be the stalker

Stopping on part 2... Trying to take my time...I like the back and forth so far...but I don't like that we're not getting anywhere.

It's an easy read which can be boring ..after trying to put together the possible outcomes ..we know there is another female pretending to be her doing her own thing ...maybe it's the prev wife who is trying to be left alone and using her ID for it ?

Theory: it keeps hinting she may be a serial killer due to genetics but I don't think so...I think she became a sergean because of the desensitize upbringing. I think the current killer is trying to get her attention. Can't be her parents so it's looking like a love interest (the ex)...but that seems too easy....BUT it is Freida lol

I'm liking that it does not follow the tv show but I'm familiar with the plot...maybe I will finish the series

I knew it ! The only logical theory has been proven true.. let's see what other twists are ahead..I think "tom" loves his wife and child...not sure what dark past he has of he was taken. Every few chapters there is a pov of someone trapped but no confirmation of who it is or why. We have names and theories. I hope the ending is crazy but makes sense lol

I cannot read fast enough lol nothing makes sense so far. Fast paced, however I hope we start getting answers soon....I wonder if at the end we could hear the husbands or Lydia's pov...we still don't know who Lydia is

Interesting plot so far

Last update before I finish ...we still don't know what happened....however they are introducing a new lead...from the wording of the captor...it seems to be female going to Mexico because those are the babies roots...which doesn't quite makes sense...is this baby daddy drama? Unless it's someone who is suffering from a mental disability that took the girl

The way the "then" vs now and the random italic sections...are interesting. The italic one should be the person that took her...which doesn't seem like they mean her harm. I also think it is someone they know. Suspenseful but not a lot of helpful info so far...but the change in writing is definitely hinting at something

It's definitely a psychological thriller specifically because it's based on what these criminals that were dying wanted to say. Would probably continue with the series but it's also heavy. I don't read it back to back and have taken a few days in between. So great book but you have to be in the mood for it. It's nice that you can break it up per each character
