I'm actually enjoying a non thriller. I'm surprised lol so we start with the goal of getting Ellie but I haven't heard shit from Ellie lol I feel like there is a twist coming

Part 1 okay I'm invested, this author knows how to pull on my heartstrings.I think the trauma is there without the gory details which I really enjoy. It focuses more on human connection

Must write down names lol ruby is married to Jack. Has Mason (went mia for 28 days and Millie, hates mom). I think ivy is the mistress. Something is off with Millie and I think it could foreshadow who ruby really is. Supposedly the mistress is dead but not confirmed

It's a fast and easy read but as a seasoned thriller reader it's not the best but entertaining so far...I don't think there will be a twist

Okay not sure if I'm on the last part but I wanted to takes a few notes...how old are the characters? That's confusing me. Barely any character development which sucks for me. I am disappointed that it's not as fast paced as the other books I've read. I do not think Charles is the killer. I keep going back to the sisters that survived. It's unrealistic for one person to get away with it but it's fiction so...
