I found the discussion about suppressing one’s animalistic instincts interesting. Trying to be purely intellectual and repressing that primitive instinct, only leads to it erupting more violently. It’s ironic how despite all their discipline, driven by elitism within this group, this repression leads to them covering up a murder. A primitive and ugly act, that contradicts everything they value and claim to be.
