So far this book has me hooked, but I have a few critiques I can think of. Will update as I read more

I really love this book so far. No complaints yet

Dark, some outdated information (at least based on what I’ve learned in the past few years in psychology uni courses). But a lot of it is still accurate and debunks a lot of common misconceptions. Teaches to trust your gut instincts, because even those who are professionals can still get fooled by psychopaths. Interesting read so far!

So far this book is very dark. I can handle it in chunks only. There is use of blunt language, and uncomfortable things discussed so far. It doesn’t gently cover certain subjects like grooming and assault and can be quite triggering.

But, if you have an interest in being able to spot and avoid socio or psychopaths - this is your handbook. Never fall for another psycho again!

Very validating so far … brings up good examples to make you think deeply. I notice many areas where I could improve my self-care or self- love based on what I longed for and lacked in childhood. Also, how important it is to be intentional and more careful with words said to others - especially ourselves. As victims of narcissists we can sometimes be harsh on ourselves or others offering us help.
