The Body Keeps the Score: Brain, Mind, and Body in the Healing of Trauma
was relieved to read other reviews that were equally shocked and appalled by the way the author describes Tom. "He killed and assualted innocent people during the war but it's because of his trauma!!" is how that part had read to me. His behaviour is simply inhumane and should not be excused by "trauma". It feels irresponsible to only include how traumatised people hurt others without touching on accountability.
