i forgot how much i love this book

as someone who believes deeply in the covenant of marriage, this all could have been solved if these two egotistical maniacs got divorced

complaining that the name goldie is stupid for a dog and then naming said dog fleetfoot is beyond bonkers

the way i closed the book, moved to a place with broad daylight and other people, because mr king is being creepy again
