wow im invested now. zelu's life and her story tgt are actl q compelling + the storytelling (diction esp) is quite unique

intrigued by the characters and their stories, confused by the premise

interesting fmc... i like that the fmc is intentionally confusing and complex and not rlly 'likeable'. i feel like im subtley getting to know bt the culture too. feels noice.

lol my hypothesis abt the cliche was wrong. this is actl quite cute.

I rlly didn't think that the author would go back to a cliche where the guy and the girl clearly like each other, but do not communicate so there is a misunderstanding. they both think it's js a meaningless hookup even tho they both love each othr ;-;, then there is a dumb fight and sudden suprise confession whr they both love each other, which is super romantic, but also predictable. WHAT HAPPENED TO COMMUNIXATION.

The book is pretty great so far, (ESP AFTR THE PREVIOUS ONE). Sarah is super amikable and REAL and flawed and raw and relatable and honest. like i can actl imagine a real person exactly like this. plus reading her perspective and unravelling her life is so nice. i dont want it to stop. it's like listening to a person voice her story and opinion. plus, godbless no unrealistic superhot ppl or lust at first site.

wow, i dont think ive ever disliked a character sm. imagine violating someones boundaries again and again in a very hurtful and intentional way and then argue that they're anger is an overreaction and justifying that by saying that the og character's intentions are pure.

now that i read the couple accept happiest in the world they're in rn, i realise, this book, unlike sinilar (eg: midnight library) isn't set to prove that they're current life is the best. it introduces and accepts that the couple is happy with their current life and js wonder bt the possibilities of othr. that's q curious cuz we still dk wht the author is tryna prove. (not a typical hopecore but also kinda is?)
