with love all things, maybe redeemed, all things may be rescued.
Love is such a priceless treasure that the whole world may be purchased with it, and the sense not only of oneself but also those of others be redeemed. Go now and have no fear.

for could there ever be a sin that could exceed God‘s love?
Have faith that God loves you in a way of what you cannot dream, loves you even with your sin and in your sin. For it was said long ago that there shall be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth then over 10 just men.
Go now, and have no fear.

and if only for a single moment. for this reason, it was (it could not be ) that at the moment of the bowing before the gifts, a kind of unavoidable jolt to the entire organism, a jolt brought on by the expectation of a certain miracle of healing, and by the most complete faith that it would be achieved. And achieved it worse,if only for a single moment.

after all, it is sometimes rather enjoyable to feel insulted, is it not for the person knows that no one has insulted him, and that he himself has thought of the insult and told lies as an ornament… and yet it is the very first to feel insulted, feel insulted to the point of pleasure, to the point of great satisfaction, and for that reason ends up, nurturing a sense of true animosity
(~ easier than being yourself)

The main thing is that you stop telling lies to yourself. The one who lies to himself and believes his own lies, comes to a point where he can distinguish no truth, either within himself or around him, and the dust enters into a state of respect towards himself and others. Respecting no one, he loves no one, and to amuse and divert himself in the absence of love, he gives himself up to his passions and vulgar…

I am thinking of freedom again, how the calf is most free when the cage opens and it led to the truck for slaughter.
All freedom is relative— You know too well— and sometimes it’s not freedom at all, but simply the cage widening far away from you, the bar is obstructed with distance, but still there, us when they “free” wild animals into nature preserves only to contain them yet again by larger borders.

remember: the rules, like streets, can only take you to know places. Underneath the grid is a field — it was always there — where to be lost is never to be wrong, but simply more.

I don’t want my sadness to be othered from me just as I don’t want my happiness to be othered. They’re both mine. I made them, dammit. What if the elation I feel is not another “ bipolar episode” but something I fought hard for?
What if my sadness is actually my most brutal teacher? And the lesson is always this: you don’t have to be like the buffaloes. You can stop. (they fall downhillone afteranother

It must suck to be the sun, though

cause you never see yourself if you’re the sun. You don’t even know where you are in the sky.

Like you don’t even know if you’re round or square or even if you’re ugly, or not, you can only see what you do to the Earth, the colours and stuff, but not who you are. “

The book was entertaining and had some philosophical aspects, but not heavy on them it’s still felt light. It has “ science fiction.” elements, which are quite real.
The only thing I didn’t like is how at the beginning everything was confusing and then some parts were.

religious due in eternities. We are working with other groups-some religious, some philosophical, some political-but we all have the same aim; a human society of robbers and is so flexible it will take us to the stars. We’re evolving five major social experiments.
- my family are not your lab rats
- with respect, you are
We all are, Lucas. Every human is an experiment.

she was a girl filled with ghost. The ghost of having no roots. The ghost of being an exile from a dead country. The ghost of privilege…. This goes Ros, her whole life, shouting in her ear.

amazing spiritual book. With examples of getting through challenging situations in life.
The part about climbing the waterfall helped me in my life to get the courage to do something I thought I wouldn’t be able to, that scene came to me and I realized, if he could do that I can also do this.
Includes exercises, like finding your inner guide, naming it and communicating with it. And other meditations.

What i’m taking out of the book is that there really are different realities. Our thoughts create our future reality (just like in the book with the ship that created terminus).
Just like in the book, we can travel back and delete our past and this way change our present and future. IMPORTANT!!

Quite nice. At the beginning there was too many details described which made it a little annoying but soon the plot evolved and it kept going right until the end.
Pretty intense, with detailed descriptions of death and injuries.

and taking pride in your beauty is a damming act. Because you allow yourself to believe that the only thing notable about yourself is something with a very short shelf life.

Crazy. The book was as interesting as the first one. There’s always something happening, no rest which makes the book so hooking. The end was crazy and pretty disturbing in many ways so Trigger Warning.
