It picked up a couple of chapters ago and I say that not because the book was boring before. It was definitely a slow build. I always loved Dianna, she’s a powerhouse and her personality is tea. She’s definitely a dark fmc but she still has a moral compass and that’s sexy. I’m getting to a point where I’m starting to find connection with the characters and that’s usually when the book gets good for me
