I hate that this book seems to be mostly about Rocky because there's honestly nothing the author can do at this point to redeem him in my eyes. The fact that he would eagerly turn out an orphaned 6 year old for ANY reason tells me he's a terrible person and I already hate him.

I find it disturbing that Reese and Karl are able to witness someone's violent death and within the hour push the entire incident out of their minds and become totally caught up in lusting after one another. I'm really not liking these two.

Devin and Talis seem to causing the majority of the stories conflict themselves because they can't seem to have a single full conversation. Then again, they've only tried to talk 3 times and anyone can guess how 2 of those ended. STEP AWAY FROM THE THROBBING ERECTION!

The entire time I was reading the flashback scene with Jon, Alex, and the smug detectives I was asking myself, 'Why don't these dumbasses sneak back out the way they came in instead of only moving forward?' I mean, Noone is going to benefit from them continuing forward except for the criminals and the whole thing with the little girls is a bit much.

In a town this size someone's going to notice when poor Ellis gets ticketed four times every month for broken tail lights on his car. They just are. And I actually got a ticket for this once. At the very least you have to present yourself at the dmv and have a cop go out to inspect and approve the vehicle. Repeat offenders are going to be required to report to court. Someone is going to notice something.

Several things are bugging me. First, I don't believe so many people would be openly hostile towards the mentally disabled. Secondly, the blond's reaction at the Superstore is over the top and ridiculous. RIDICULOUS. It was obviously a plot device and not a good or believable one. Last but not least, I'm not buying that someone could be systematically singled out and harassed by the local cops to such a degree.

Poor Boyd is going through all this trouble to sneek around the lab building without being recognized on camera but I was under the impression the agency could just tell where he's been or is currently located using his implant. Oh well. Not a huge deal I guess.

Oh nos! I was so getting into it! The reunion scene! All the friends in my warped little mind were chanting "Do it! Do it! Do it! Do it!" And I really really thought they were going to and and and.... Urgh. I just love Boyd and Hsin's chemistry. It's off the charts amazing when they're together.

Maybe the agency wouldn't be spread so thin if it didn't constantly send out agents with incomplete or incorrect information and then torture or terminate them when they fail their missions. This is totally unrealistic and a huge bone of contention with me where this series is concerned. I mean, who needs enemies with crap like this going on? The place will eventually self-destruct on its own!
