I read this when I was around 10, and wrote book reports absolutely glazing this book (even tho I found it a snoozefest.)

so I’m gonna reread it

Okok this story is fantastic so far and Ik it’s gonna get better

but the reoccurring “women aren’t meant for this” sentiment is too much already… smh sexism

And the way women are described almost like objects is the same way a bunch of YA female written novels describe men - idealized.

it didn’t take much to figure out that the author is a man

I feel like so many things are lost in translation

it’s not the fault of English, English can be written very well


oh well

Good story so far tho
