Watching the George Lopez Show - the Labor Day marathon on Cozi TV - hilarious and heartfelt, GL (George Lopez, not Green Lantern) delivers the love and laughter of being a dad, husband, and son - the Sandra Bullock appearances are slapstick gold

"China Syndrome", the two-part series finale of King of Queens, seems to be a fuck you to the audience who "rode along" with the Heffernans, through highs and lows of 9 or 10 seasons of their tough but fair love-hate marriage -- the very final scene of a household terrorized by an unwanted adopted child suggests the hidden hand of Ben Stiller or Adam Sandler (both with KoQ connections) at their most surreal, cynical

As a teen tycoon of rock, I look forward to getting Taylor Swift into the studio with Rick Rubin getting her back to basics and the Pipettes shadow-singing a way forward like the Sirens in that one old Greek book

Found a Brian Eno mix CD a well-meaning friend made. Well, friend, you left off "Blackwater" and "Seven Deadly Finns" lol - but "Spider and I" and "Bicycle" (w/John Cale) were genius additions!!

On porch there arose such a clatter, looked outside to see whassamatta: okay, at 2 AM there was the main black cat hiss talking from vantage of a step stool with, believe it or not, a new black cat (who seemed cranky, like it had walked through the angle of two walls and found itself perplexingly here ) while 2 raccoons stared from the stairs- no doubt a mixup regarding time and place of a secret pizza party.

My main phone of 19 years died. Just letting the, like, three of you who ever communicated (seanced, conjured) me on it know because I am, ha ha, too lazy to do a formal letter to each of you. If you, old friends dear friends, need the new number DM me.
