This got so boring and repetitious that I gave up on the series.

If you like post apocalyptic books this is for you. The apocalypse is caused by a virus which escapes from a lab. Sound familiar? Society must reorganize with fewer people than before. The book is action packed, filled with intrigue and angst. I loved it.

Intense and fascinating as are all of David Nees' books. I've never
read one that wasn't outstanding from this author.

Shayne has become one of my favorite authors.

Great read for Science Fiction fans. Characters are well drawn and likable. Suspenseful!

Can't finish it. Too boring and unbelievable. Doesn't make sense.

It is jerky and disjointed so far. Characters are not believable. I'll finish it and let you know if it improves. The author's other series set in Ireland is better written.

I just finished Children of the After: Awakening (book 1) and gave it 5 stars. The lead characters are teenagers but it is still interesting to adults interested in dystopian literature.
