The more short stories I read, the more annoyed and convinced I get that Kafka was just a straight up incel lol.

Oh brother what a read

Damn everyone are lowkey just assholes wtf😭

Love the writing style🤌

I do wonder what relationship WWX has to JL, being so protective and worried for him, and seeming to know his dead mother as well. I’m also starting to wonder what bad exactly WWX actually has done (previous life)? Idk he just doesn’t seem to have a villain personality, something feels off. Also JC just figured out it’s actually WWX cuz of his dog fear, GGs it’s joever🫡💀

I’m curious to see what LWJ actually thinks of WWX later down the line. Obviously he was annoyed with him in the flashback, but WWX’s bullying had affection behind it wether he knew it or not. Also curious that he’s “never angry anymore” and all that hidden alcohol, I’m assuming bro doesn’t gaf about the world anymore after his “wife” died. He just like me frfr💀

Actual gremlin💀

This is such a goofy read and I’m all for it. WWX is so unserious, actual goblin, bullying LWJ at every given moment I can’t. Yet somehow bro sometimes ends up flirting without him realizing it himself. Like bro what do you mean you painted a portrait of LWJ and then give it to him in an attempt of offending his appearance???😭😭💀💀

Why do I feel like LWJ knows it’s WWX but just doesn’t say it for whatever reason? Bro recognized the flute play immediately💀

“Wears all white as if he’s mourning his dead wife” ye ok nice hint there lmaoooo. Also WWX finally washed his face lol. Although he needs to stfu with his “uhm actually” attitude, it’s giving Death Note type of over explanation and it’s pissing me off😭

Can bro please just clean off his face I swear to god lmao

Oh TXJ you fool…🥲 Doing all this for SM, and for what? You don’t even know it yourself, do you?🥲 Slaughtering the whole world, just to build a stupid bridge so that SM can go home. I’m sorry Meatbun but you can never make me feel bad for SM after all the shit you made him do, actual war criminal lmao

Decided to start on this series today, so far I’m really enjoying it! Really like WW’s backstory and whatever supernatural shit he’s got going on. So much drama already, he’s literally just a Hollywood housewife causing drama for no reason lmaooo💀

Hundred pages in and I can’t tell if this book is trying so fucking hard to be actual serious feminist literature and failing miserably, or if it’s satire and making fun of feminism and women knowingly. And honestly I don’t know what’s worse lmao. The whole writing style is giving g.i.r.l. and it’s so sad man. I’ll continue reading, hoping for ANYTHING good, but damn it man :(

… ngl, so far I am so bored reading this. This book is very episodic and doesn’t really follow a “main story” (not yet at least?). But I guess that’s what you get with a 1vol-only series. Lot of time and place jumping, and introducing characters that really don’t matter. Idk it all just feels so fetish-coded instead of making me care for the actual character couple.

Lesbians🙏

Well… that was sad. CW is just an empty husk, and now forced to stay with an imposter of his dead lover. Let alone forced to bed him… Just pain. This vol was miserable (in a good way), unlike vol8.😒 Just pure pain all around. They don’t deserve any of this, just let them be happy ffs. Vol 10 here I come🥲

XM drinking himself to death (understandably). But at least he got the twin-twinks supporting him, love that for him I guess💀 TXJ being… himself, I suppose. It’s just so sad him being so envious over MR’s memories with CW. Something he himself could’ve had. TJX is a fucking victim man, fuck you SM🫠

Heuuuuu XM… TXJ……😞💔 Besides them, SM is going on about how he “finally succeeded” and how he is a “hero.” While also showing slight remorse? Bro I’m sorry but be so fucking fr with me right now. I don’t care if he did all of this in order to save his clan or mom. No amount of backstory, lore or “reasoning” SM will give us will redeem him. Ridiculous😒

Still carrying the title of SM’s nr1 hater loud and proud. Everyone is just fucking dead or probably about to die. Sisheng Peak is no more, the Xue family is dead besides XM (but he’s losing his mind), MR is dead, TXJ is about to go through some trauma and CW is grieving in bumfuck who knows where. I just pray and hope that karma will come for SM soon because MY GOD IM OVER IIIIIT

What even is this series WTFFFF???😭😭😭 Fucking stupid move of XM, but a valid crash out non the less cuz FUCK EVERYONE. Every character you actually care for are either just dying like flys or getting so abused/traumatized it just breaks them completely. I don’t know how much more reading of this I can handle I stg

MEATBUN COUNT YOUR FUCKING DAYS, BETTER GET A GOOD ASS LAWER CUZ IM SUEING YOUR ASS FOR MENTAL ABUSE!
“May you have sweet dreams, with fire and a light — and a home.” IM GONNA GOUGE MY FUCKING EYES OUT AFTER ALL THIS CRYING SOMEONE END ME NOOOOOOWWWWWWW

This is torture, I can’t stop crying. Absolutely miserable reading this. I want Shi Mei to be put on a fucking stake and rot for all eternity at the end of all this. They don’t deserve this, and I demand justice. Mo Ran, Chu Wanning… I’m in fucking pain😭😭💔💔💔

Sigh, MR’s trial has begun. This is gonna be a hard read, isn’t it
