Trying to be patient. The 1st book also had a slower start and then got better, but this one… oh my lord. They literally. Have been walking, the entire book so far. I am tired for them. Walk, talk & hunt is all we’re doing. Subtle hints of what may lie ahead, but I am sincerely begging for something to actually happen

Oh this book is so good. Such a unique setting for the story to take place (A small town in Alaska where all 200 residents live in one apartment building).

wow this read is whiplash from my usual psycho thriller vibe. just about half way through and this memoir is an emotional rollercoaster. the way each scene is painted in the smells and sights of their favorite korean foods, their dialogue simple and sharp. i’m nervous to see where the next half goes cause i’m already crying
