this book has made me cry multiple times already today

starting listening to this while pulling weeds at work today. it’s cool seeing another side of kuang’s work

trying to work my way through some classics

i haven’t bad time to listen the past few days but i neeeeed to know how this ends

reading this feels like watching a train wreck in slow motion in some kind of domino effect. at basically every turn it’s not like rin really has any other choice, but i just know that everything is going to go horribly wrong. she’s never not been betrayed by anyone in a position of power that she aligns herself with. 🫣🫤

i would like to note that the audio quality is markedly worse than the first book. by so much. and this narrator pronounces the school “sine-a-gard” as opposed to “sin-a-gard” which is distracting unfortunately
