I’m going to come back to this book in the future because I just cannot listen any longer with this narrator. No hate to her but it just doesn’t work for me.

I think I’d be enjoying this a little more if it was a different narrator

I didn’t love the last two Emily Henry books I read — Great Big Beautiful Life and Funny Story — so I’m very happy to say this one is going great so far

Been spending this book pretending like Rochester isn’t old af

There’s times throughout these books where the characters are discussing plans and I actually have no idea what they’re talking about. And I can never tell if I’ve missed something, if it’s unclear on purpose so it can be explained later on, or just poor writing.

I’m liking this book but its killing me how long its taking me to get through it

Violet is kinda annoying me with all the “you weren’t there! you don’t know what I’m going through!” chatter tbh. I know she’s grieving but i hate that she used it to validate that she thinks the cruelty of Basgiath is necessary and valid.

I’m not loving it as much as the first but we’ll see

I usually don’t like a lot of dialogue in books but Lila is sooo funny so I really don’t mind
