Loving this read so far. Just the exchange between Peter and Naomi left me intrigued to discover hidden depths of his and her entanglement as well as his and Sylvia's. Also curious to explore the relations that occur between Margaret and Ivan. As usual, I continue to be a fan of Rooney's hyper-realism and social commentary!

just got to a the climax(ish?) part where the characters are faced with their personal obstacles that could prevent them from happiness and DANG I had to close toe book because the last chapter before I stopped was such an emotional ride. Might be triggering for anyone with childhood neglect trauma, I will add! But still going great read wise.

might be the best book I’ve read all year…certainly has kept my attention and been the joyful respite from winter I’ve needed! 💙

really insightful commentary into society and human identity by the author through her description of the different parts of the world each sister lives in. enjoying that the most so far. 💙
