Pg. 426 - It’s pretty darn good. I want Cassandra to trust abba again!

Pg. 300 - This is my favorite book thus far and I only hope it continues this way. In this chapter 32 I just read there was some confusing prose so I’m going to go back and reread that I think but other than a few little moments like that my intrigue has held firm and being back at forum is almost near to what I liked so much in demon in white.

Pg. 197 - I’m liking this a lot. It feels different but not in a bad way. There’s mysteries, assassins, shapeshifters, crazy lore, etc.

Pg. 104 - God there’s still so many descriptions that are lost on me. Confusing locations and then there are all of these new characters and settings and it’s a bit much. I did get frustrated and there isn’t a lexicon or index of any kind in this one which isn’t helpful. What I will say is this feels so much grander now and I like that. Cassandra and the new mysteries with the Quiet and Watchers are engaging

Pg. 153 - So far so good. I HOPE Hadrian isn’t just chilling on Jadd. Lorian I’m sure he isn’t…

Pg. 542 - It may be slow in terms of plot but I’m liking this one simply for the quality and content within the non-action scenes. And I got to see Alexander falter a bit and rely on Hadrian more. And likewise William seems to be an actual friend to Hadrian.

Pg. 429 - Olorin heyyy

Pg. 295 - Caesar is kinda chill. But I do think Hadrian and Valka need a break.

Pg. 208 - Alexander get over yourself.

Pg. 108 - I do not at all mind the quiet and slower plot happening right now. In fact I enjoy it. And in so glad that Hadrian was able to mourn and relax as best he could before all of this pageantry began again.

Pg. 396 - Okay so the first third maybe of the book was really interesting and easy to read. Then the middle section really dragged out and I was beginning to think wow this book isn’t that great compared to the others. Then where I’m at now things are starting click again and I couldn’t contain my emotions around these pages either I was so scared and still am but stopping here.

Pg. 300 - I tried to keep reading but idk what’s wrong with me I’m too stupid rn

Pg. 205 - So the Lothrian commonwealth is of course led by some crazy sobs that make deals with the Cielcin OFC! Everybody on the Tamerlane and the escape vehicle better be okay.

Pg. 100 - Okay okay. How will Hadrian solve this political impasse today.

Pg. 647 - God the war and fighting sequences are so confusing

Pg. 549 - It’s a little slow rn but hey he got to see Gibson

Pg. 446 - I couldn’t resist reading more and wouldn’t you know it Tor Gibson was only a couple chapters away! Holy shite

Pg. 402 - Okay dis book is good it’s good. And what a shocker that the emperor is actually maybe a just person or is at least a very powerful ally for Hadrian.

Pg. 302 - Valka is a real one

Pg. 207 - It’s gotten very action packed which means I’m more confused because there’s just so many new words and people and confusing actions. QR; Attacked by alien, boarded alien ship to try to disable it, found missing ship and ppl, aliens are now exalted as well, chimeras exist like Iabalu, iabalu can get through the exterior of the missing ship, Iabalu wants Hadrian to present to Dorayaica.

Pg. 106 - Okay okay we got some fame, some game, and some blame but Hadrian is otherwise doing okay. Yet another childhood story has found its way to him.

Pg. 585 - Will I finish today or will I be too lazy? Time will tell. You know what else time tells? Bassander Lin is a bitch.

Pg. 503 - Smoochie smoochie

Pg. 400 - Again, the flowery language can make envisioning the surroundings very difficult but I am enjoying the plot a fair amount. It feels prophetic right now because of the AI under Kharns pyramid. And Bassander is back yay. I will say the whole prophecy or whatever you may call it is a little confusing. The head of the Cielcin are coming and Hadrian is mean to kill them? Idk.

Pg. 300 - There was a lot of confusing imagery today written in the 100 pages I read. I think sometimes that the amount of poetic and flowery language can kind of confuse my brain and so I end up glossing over it which can lead to more confusion.

Pg. 201 - You know what this one is way more engaging so far and quite interesting. Easier to follow.

Pg. 95 - So far, I’m understanding more than in the previous book.
