I am absolutely flooooored right now. EVERY single Middle Eastern-American should read this. I have seen so many parallels in my own life and family. And the ones that aren’t like mine, are things I’ve seen in the Arab community around me. This book is so polarizing and also incredible. I was very confused for the first 15%, now I’m invested.

Do not read this damn book if you don’t want to sob into your pillow.

So far so good, I’ve cried twice so.

Insane overlap between this book and the authors book The Good Samaritan. I actually put that book down because it was too disturbing for me. But I’m so so impressed with how he did this character crossover and how the characters from that book are in this one. Really enjoying this so far even though it’s creepy.

Obsessed so far.

So far it’s a cute and easy read. Definitely not realistic and a little corny but I honestly needed an easy read.

Insane twist. I’m gonna THROW UPPPPPP I need to know how this ends.
