This is crazy! I love the writing and Gideon! I’m definitely continuing this duology and I’m honestly really scared. I really think this book is a 5 stars, but I feel like I’ve only read 5 stars this year! Which is a good thing but honestly I’m scared I’m being too nice.

As much as I love oak and his character, but he seems like a completely different boy from the og trilogy. Not to say that’s bad, but just a little weird. Maybe holly black just hasn’t got to the part that explains how he got like this, or maybe I just forgot smt from the og trilogy (it’s been a while)

Honestly, wren is such a good protagonist. She went through so much abuse and trauma. Also, I really like the way the plot is going. I’m finding myself really lost in the story and honestly, I feel like I’m in Elfhame again. Jude has been mentioned more thank would’ve thought, but Cardan, not so much
