Turns out it was all a huge MISUNDERSTANDING. He thought she rejected him and wanted him to stay away, when in reality it was all a huge miscommunication. She offers him a proposal to hang out and get to know each other over the next couple days. See where it leads I really like this book so far it’s cute and would like to see it adapted into a movie. Seems Otto likes Mike just as much, maybe even more.

We learn that Viola and Jesse have met before and have gotten off to a rocky start. Viola developed a crush on him while he’s made it clear he wants nothing to do with her. Both FlyButter and Nephilim have a rocky relationship and many workers on each side cannot stand each other. Now they all have to endure a week together. Jesse and Ashley might have a thing going on. I am living for Mike and Shannon.

They have finally in a way admitted their feelings to each other and themselves. Finally, accepting that it was way more than hookups. However, the looming thought of things needing to end before it goes too far is haunting them. Ilya’s dad is dying and Shane just desperately wants to be there for him.

Ilya and Shane are separately realizing they both have feelings for each other. The rivalry is still there but it’s extra flirtatious now more than ever. One of the things I realized about the show is that expanded on a lot of the scenes and made changes on location. Which I ofc have no problem with it.

There’s already differences between the book and the show. I wonder why they changed, probably to focus on Scott as well. Kip and Scott’s story is happening at the same time as theirs.

Col claimed that Quill was a witch and kicked him out of the shelter. All boys in the group were named Keepers of something by Quill. Col took John with him up to a higher shelter. Col found that john was a girl and was planning to make her his wife. They took the raft and right as they set sail John jumped out. Winter hit and Mr. Farris tried to kill himself but Quill stopped him, making him see reason.

At this point, there is growing tension and despair growing amongst the group. Col is abusing his power in the group. Forcing them to confess their sins and others within the group. We find out that JOHN is a GIRL!!! The older men are finding scraps to make a boat probably to keep themselves busy. Euan was dared to walk on water by Kenneth and was saved by Lachlan. It’s getting good

The Plot twist was really unexpected… just stunned. Andy is a fucking nut case, that’s why Nina was letting her hair show to piss off Andy in front of Mina. However, Mina took care of it for her by stealing Andrew.

BROO they frickin slept together I knew it would freaking happen. Ofc Nina is gonna to find out and will crash tf out respectfully. However Nina trying to kill Cecelia was a twist I did not expect fr. Andrew seems like he’s hiding red flags already cheating on your wife is one drunk or not. The whole thing is weird.

I’m reading this book with audible. From the get go you can tell something is up. The mother Nina is already pmo. She’s out of touch and reality. The daughter seems like a brat. Nina seems like a manipulator and easy flips the script. Can’t wait to read more 😂

Cousin Charles has arrived and I already don’t like him. He’s shady asf, it’s obvious he wants the money. He triggers me so bad and Constance being so easily manipulated. I really hope MK can drive him away.

Just started, so far it’s intriguing. I feel there’s already elements of foreshadow-ment. I wonder what will happen? The line “merikat merikat, want some tea? No Connie, you’ll poison me” that’s said by MK I feel that might be alluding to sister being a little off. Clearly the people around her are awful but the sister and the uncle seem okay so far. So idk.😂

I’m almost towards the end. I like the chemistry between Lucy and iris. I’m ready to finish it…
There at the point where iris is luring Dracula and Lucy is with the lover and the queen trying to figure out what to do about him. And constantly trying to fight urge to see iris. We’re also starting to see Draculas perspective. It quite interesting.
