Chapter one was incredible. Idk if it’s all manga but the first chapters of Naruto and Spy x Family are SO good (and longer than other chapters).
I love Naruto.❤️

Wow. This book is crazy.😭 A solid 4⭐️ or 4.25⭐️. Definitely my favorite so far.

Also the back cover of this book took me by surprise. It’s SOOO BEAUTIFUL.

I absolutely love the turning room concept. Like the demon being able to turn the room different directions is sooo cool. And the art is so cool too. Being able to draw something like that is crazy.
I liked this book a lot more than I thought I was going to but I feel like I can’t give 5 stars to every demon slayer book. So this one is 4.5⭐️ but I did really enjoy my time reading it.

And something about him in the manga feels cooler. In the anime he just seemed weird and wild. In the manga he’s still WILD and strange but I guess he seems scarier. It’s probably the more realistic boar head and he doesn’t have a voice actor, so you can imagine him to have a scarier voice. I kinda wish his voice was deeper and more intimidating in the anime.

love Demon Slayer. Tanjiro is literally the best character in the world. He's such a good boy with the purist heart and soul and I love him.
Zenitsu honestly doesn't annoy me like how he used to. After watching Intinity Castle I have new found respect for him. Inosuke’s boar mask looks so much more realistic in the manga than the anime. I was kinda taken aback by how realistic it was.

I can read about monsters if they actually have a point, like Light Yagami for example. But he’s not nearly as monstrous as them. If I’m gonna read about villains I want them to actually be smart or have a point in their twisted philosophy. Or like an actual reason for what they’re doing. Unfortunately the idiot in this book doesn’t have any of that.

Didn’t like this nearly as much as the first book. Nita got on my fucking nerves sometimes. And I can’t believe it did that to Fabricio at the end. It’s the most ignorant fucking thing in the world. And I’m referring to her as it and thing because that’s what she is. I absolutely hate ignorant people. Adair gives it really good advice but the thing just doesn’t listen. It’s so incredibly stupid.

Overall I absolutely loved this book. Also, I forgot to mention but the little details in this story are Everything. Anya learned some math from watching the Spy Wars cartoon. So Loid started reading the Spy Wars manga to implement details in the story to her study sessions. It’s not even very obvious, it’s something that you actually have to notice. I love and appreciate that sooo much you have no idea. 5⭐️

But it’s actually an “extra mission”. It was a bit more obvious with the Penguin Park chapter, but I truly believed that that chapter was part of the canon Spy x Family story. It’s SOOOO good!
But I was also really shocked that it’s in volume 3. I thought I’d have to wait until volume 6 or 7 so that was a very welcome and happy surprise. (I was super excited to read that chapter).

the Forger family wouldn’t even exist. Anyway, I love seeing chapters about Loid and Yor. And I LOOOOVE that the extra mission at the end of the book is the one where Loid and Yor go on a date. That chapter is literally one of my favorite episodes in the anime, but it’s in season 2 episode 1 so I thought I would have to wait a while before I could read it. I honestly had no idea that chapter is entirely canon.

I really love the Loid and Yor moments. I wish we got more of them. In the later books it really feels like Anya is the main character and it’s all about her and Damian, or just her school life in general. And that’s cool, but I really miss whenever Twilight was the main character and it was more about him (and his mission). Because he IS supposed to be the main character, and without Operation Strix, TBC…

I love Spy x Family. Damian is a lot more arrogant than I remembered. I love that they included the penguin park chapter in the manga. This series is so sweet it’s like a comfort read. ❤️😊
