Ok, the junior novelization is finally clicking with me, or maybe it’s just because I like ‘raiders’ so maybe that’s why. Who knows? 😅

I’m starting to remember why I’m not that fond of junior novelizations. 😅

The Invisible Man’s letter to Kemp (and to an extent the final four chapters), were so excellently written.

Technically not “done” with the book since I want to read the extra materials like the biography and introduction but yes we are now officially done.

Out of the two “The Invisible Man” is my favorite.

Like I know I shouldn’t be rooting for Griffin but I felt so sad that he thought the only person he’d thought would have his back (Kemp) ended up selling him out to Adye and the police.

Love how this is ended up being about Free Will and loneliness.

I like how the Invisible Man’s time at the supermarket really felt like that free will meme that’s going around lately.

I really need to be more consistent with my reading 😅.

Really interesting how we finally got into the explanation into how Griffin turned invisible.

Truly a sad and depraved individual.

One chapter into The Invisible Man and it’s leagues better than the Time Machine I’m sorry 😭

THE TIME MACHINE (COMPLETED)

It was definitely an interesting read. It was simply a matter of getting lost in its specific English made it hard to follow, especially in the first half.

Definitely liked the 2nd half more, but let’s be real here. I bought this copy just so I could read The Invisible Man story 😅.

For as neurotic and self centered as the Time Traveler is, it’s really sad/sweet that he took in little Weena as if she was his kid.

….

So anyways Weena dies in this chapter 😭

The Time Traveler going to the Palace of Green Porcelain was like me going to the American Museum of Natural History and seeing the dinosaur exhibit.

Maybe an apt comparison but like museums are so cool guys you have no idea. 😌

R. I. P. H. G. Wells, you would’ve loved Severance on Apple TV+ 😔
