In the 1960s, Kate Millett would lead the following chant/response:

How do we make a cultural revolution?
By destroying the American family!
How do we destroy the family?
By destroying the American Patriarch!
How do we destroy the patriarchy?
By taking away his power!
How do we do that?
By destroying monogamy!
How do we do that?
By promoting promiscuity, eroticism, prostitution, abortion, and homosexuality!

Notes from chapter 2

I. Feminism is married historically to the occult
II. Whereas the Enlightenment provided the new purpose that birthed Feminism, it was Romanticism that provided the framework for meaning.
III. The Shelley’s contribution to Feminism was the archetype woman who was “freed” from family relations.

Page 17: “The emphasis is on a notion of a female as a human being apart from being a woman or a mother. The capacity for motherhood, in this view, is not essential to being a female human. The idea rests on the belief that raising children is what keeps female humans from being “real” people. This is one of the ideas that will open the door to eliminating womanhood altogether.”

The End of Woman: How Smashing the Patriarchy Has Destroyed Us

Joshua Bethay is 50% done with God's Word in Servant-Form: Abraham Kuyper and Herman Bavinck and the Doctrine of Scripture
Thus far, the author is examining Kuyper’s works to display how he understood his doctrine of Scripture in parallel with his doctrine of the incarnation: if the Son as God could take on a human nature without becoming stained by sin and error (the Logos in servant form), then so the Scriptures can be the Word of God penned by the instruments of human hands without error (the Word in servant form).
