Reading essay 7 on the morning of July 4th hits different. Quote from essay 6 that hit me:

“Resist the destiny of passivity and dependence which society imposed [on you] in order to take [your] rightful place in the struggle for justice and human rights.”

Restarting my read of this book that I set down before finishing.
