I like this book a lot. I like the unspoken connection between Joey and Aoife. Aoife is such a fun character and I feel so bad for all Joey has to go through. Shannon had to endure so much, but Joey took most of it from her. I can’t wait to continue to read about how Aoife and Joey get together. I hate Teddy and I hate Paul.

America and Maxon have already had their first meeting and the bet, and I forgot how much I love these characters. America is a very relatable character because of how much she is amazed at living in the castle. I love Maxon because of his humor and his kindness toward everyone, and it feels real. I like this book and I am happy to continue it.

It is really good so far. I read 100 pages in 2 hours and it did not feel that long at all. It is an easy read and fun to read. Trevor is really funny but it is also interesting to see what he had to go through as a mixed child in South Africa.

I am loving it! I love both the characters and I can’t wait for them to get together. I absolutely hate what Joey has to go through and I can’t wait till he is out of that awful house.
