Must be good since I’ve finished half of it tonight😅 The use of short chapters for pacing is genius to break up the heaviness of the subject, and the reminiscent storytelling also keeps the overall mood light.

Bit of a slow start for the first hundred or so pages, but now I can’t put it down. Seeing this world from Hild’s perspective is heart-wrenching, and the “stream of consciousness” writing makes it feel like I’m really in her shoes.

Starting to feel sad that I’m almost done😭 These are such wonderfully written adventure stories.

I’m already so invested. I loved Sea of Tranquility; Emily is quickly becoming one of my favorite Authors!
