Ooooooo shit is popping awfffff

Ohhhhh honestly I love Cora so far :( She is a bit gossipy and kinda nervy, but shes so sweet and I love her.

I love the Empyrean series but wow is the constant " you dont trust me" "you're the one who said you can't be fully honest with me" gets so old, oh so fast. The bickering and fighting between Violet and Xaden in Iron Flame is corny and over done.

John Gwynne may be my favorite author bc I AM OBSESSED ALREADY

ugh I want to devour this book whole but i'm also trying to pace myself bc I really really really do not want this series to end :(

I don't want to reveal too much.. but i'm still in disbelief that one of my fav characters in the book died?? It was just so random and I still feel like at some point he is going to surprise us and come back somehow?

I don't enjoy Lowen all that much. She is weird.. and anti social.. and that is fine. What bothers me about her is how negative she is, like her entire life has been one big self-fulfilling prophecy that has ultimately convinced her beyond on a doubt that she sucks at writing, cannot reveal herself because if she does nobody will buy her books, and that there is no way she can finish this series.

The way Christopher Paolini can weave words in such a way as to make the reader TRULY feel what is happening in these pages is actually insane and has to be some sort of witch craft.

Well way to give us a heart attack in the first fucking chapter. I thought Roran had died, I was about to throw my kindle across the fucking room!

I was iffy about Angela.. but now I do not like her. She is a pest. She is nosy, she does not care for others, and she acts as if her judgement trumps all. First character I have been annoyed with. I didn't know how to feel about Nasuada at first.. but now that we are getting to know her more I think I have faith in her. I do still have room for doubt on her but so far.. so far so good.

I love the book so far. I feel like I'm getting to know Eragon so much more than when I watched the movie as a kid. It's insane how much detail the movie really left out.

This book is unlike anything I’ve read. Just when I keep thinking I know what is going to happen next something else happens. The book has beaten my predictions so far

I’m annoyed w Callie. From the moment Callie found out about the vow, Magnar TOLD her thetr would be things she would need to get used to not having or freedom she wouldn’t have. She said she didn’t want it, so he never mentioned it again. In her state of distress and grief she took the vow WHILE magnar begged her to stop - and now she blames him for the consequences. She’s playing victim to her own choices.

I’m sooo conflicted. Erik is your typical asshole to the world but behind closed doors has good intentions and has deep emotions - but also fuck him. But also… people make mistakes and can learn from them… lol

I'm not even finished and i'm itching for the 3rd book to come out :(

Okay. I AM SO SLOW. I read Ascended before I read Riftbound.. and I am JUST NOW realizing who Aether is. WOWWW LMAO.
