I have been counting down the days until this release. 3 pages in and the book was already resonating with me as a mom of a neurodivergent kid. The writing so far is as dark and beautiful as I expected it to be. But I am a little nervous about how this book will affect me considering my own personal experiences. But I also can’t wait to keep reading… Maybe just not at 11pm.

Not sure how I feel about this one. Might be a soft DNF. It started out promising, but I don’t really like any of the characters and I feel like the FMC has gotten dumber and not smarter the further in I get. But might push through to see if the characters redeem themselves.

Pure emotional torture. Seven years. That’s all I’m going to say. But omg I’m gutted.

Really enjoying the story overall, but not yet loving the romance. Maybe feelings are still developing in the relationship, or they aren’t yet at a point where they are being honest about their true feelings. But right now I can’t tell if he actually has feelings for her or if this is a relationship of convenience. I’m hoping there is some relationship growth ahead, as I’m only 50% in. We’ll see.

I can’t.
I hate this. Hate her. HATE her. Like with every fiber of my being.
