I keep forgetting I’m reading this one; I’m usually a big fan of short story collections, but these shortform Poirots are doing nothing for me. Lacks some of the charm and intrigue of the longer stories. Will be glad to move on from this one I think.

I have some suspicions about what the twist will be, but I’m having fun regardless! Read a third of it last night before bed, going to see how far I can get in breaks between unpacking today.

nicely setting the scene. Mia sounds like the coolest lady in the world so far tbh.

Had to restart, had left the book unattended too long and forgot which characters were which. Enjoying it (and can see the clear throughlines from this book to Horowitz’ Magpie Murders, which I read some time ago).
