The first half was a little slow, but it’s sooo addictive now

Still chugging along but it’s really good! A little choppy in the pacing but that might be because I’ve taken long breaks from reading since starting this book

Hadn’t heard of this book until I found it on my library’s Hoopla page… liking it so far!🤗

Alright, good job Violet. I’m proud of you, and you’ve won me over. Can’t say the same for your mom though. People seem to keep saying horrible things to each other in this book and just getting away with it.🤨

Let’s me just say, it’s going DOWN. And Maggie’s mom is a HORRIBLE PERSON!!

This book’s just been really inconsistent so far. Not plot-wise, I’ve enjoyed that, but in other ways. Maggie is a really strong character. But her mother and sister are INSUFFERABLE, and I don’t think they’re supposed to be. And Jim is kind of a textbook case for gay men stereotypes. Also, the inner dialogue is great, but then some external dialogue is just unnatural. Still reading tho cuz I like the plot!

Trying to decide whether I like the way she writes, but maybe it’s just all the descriptors. Sticking it out tho!

I’m not ready for this book to be over😭

My girl Francie… it’s like looking in a mirror😭 I love this girl so much, I see so much of my younger self in her story😭
