This book almost reminds me of fifty shades of grey. However, both parties have a back stories and both seem to rely on each other for stability. I feel like Gideon’s womanizer reputation and his rules around relationships were dropped very quickly in the start and he’s become very dependable on Eva. Does his background come into play on this?

Is Ryle making excuses for his behaviour, should Lily have forgiven him. Sometimes I think it’s easier to stay and push through, than leave and always have that fear of what you might be losing if you go. As for atlas, “if it’s meant to be let it go, if it comes back it was always meant to be yours”. Why didn’t atlas look for her are they end game? Or is it the familiarity and comfort that keeps lily hooked

I’m nearly half way through and so far the story line is great! I have already noticed some red flags about Ryle but his character is written so well you can’t help not to fall in love with him. The difference between Ryle and Atlas really makes you question how love changes as you get older. When Lily was younger she went for the opposite of her father and what she needed whereas now it’s more what excites her
