I'm really enjoying this a lot!!

This is reminding me of the way we view God sometimes. The Other greedily wants to uncover some great knowledge, and Piranesi, in pursuing that, has decided that it's a waste of time. Because, even if Piranesi did discover the knowledge, there is nothing to be gained from knowing the secret of the fantastic house. Instead, at this point in the story, Piranesi has decided to devote their mind to other pursuits.

This book was a dnf for me last year- giving it another shot!!

As alice in wonderland's biggest fan, Marissa Meyer has put so much work and research into this book, and into making the characters so perfect. I am having so much fun, I've already referenced Carroll's book 3 times. Twinkle, twinkle, little bat...

(Also I'm definitely in love with Hatta)

So funny and nostalgic so far. This book doesn't take itself seriously at all, and I love it.

Things are finally picking up

Main character is very angry so far, and it took a while to hook me in, but I'm invested!!

Had to stop here at 1am because that chapter transition just broke me into a million pieces. Haven't cried that hard at a book in forever.

I'm hooked this is like Indiana Jones in fairy book form and I can't stop

And CAN WE TALK ABOUT THAT WHIPLASH OF A PLOT TWIST AT ABOUT 50%?! HOW DID SHE DO THAT
WHY WAS THERE THEN A N O T H E R AND THEN ANITHER BIG FAT ONE AND NOW EVERYTHING IS SO ENTERTAINING

All my warning bells just went off because there is NO WAY this woman doesn't have ulterior motives
