I didn't expect to cry within the first chapter or two. But very good.

I think it's a great book and a great idea, but I do hate the way it's written. Like it's written by a group of teenage boys. If I hear the word "cock" one more time I'll go insane.

I like this book based on what it's about, but I find it hard to read because I feel like the dialogue was written by teenagers for teenagers, not adults in their 30s and 40s.

I'm not far into it,but I already really like it. I saw the movie first and so I'm curious to see how different the book is from the movie.

I'm having a really hard time following this one and seeing how everything relates. Could be because I find it boring.

Despite it's similarities to "The Last Thing He Told Me" there are enough differences to keep it interesting. I'm interested in seeing where the story goes.

It's keeping me interested, but oddly reminiscent of the other book I read...."The Last Thing He Told Me". I'm hoping it doesn't play out the same way. Either way I'm interested in continuing it.

Sometimes I feel like it's trying too hard to be a "girl power" novel. It feels like an Elektra/Tomb Raider novel, only the female lead is a PI and not a super hero. With all that being said I am really enjoying the novel.

Pennsylvania girl reading another Pennsylvania book. It was a recommendation after reading Long Bright River. It starts quickly so I appreciate that.
