There are 4 chapters that actually focus on Jeannie’s life (other than “while this thing happened, she was born” type stuff). If you want to read about her, skip the first 3 chapters. They’re a synopsis about the history of women as spies and random facts about WWII. With the misspellings, bad grammar, and mid-sentence citations (like the dictionary and encyclopedia) it reads like a 10th grade book report.
