Finally, I got to the part where the story is mentioned in the synopsis and its getting interesting. It's a bit of a slow beginning, but I'm hoping it's not a slog

I got the point in the story where the Bishop and Jean Valjean meet and it breaks and heals my heart with this interaction. When the Bishop said he knew his name already and it was brother I fudging legit almost cried like my poor man Jean just goes through hell because he stole a fudging loaf of bread!!!!

I'm really glad Cora has people who believe in her compared to her frickin family

I feel so bad for Cora. It's insane how she saw her sister get murdered in front of her

I knew the book wouldn't start where the movie and the musical starts but I am beginning to find the Bishop interesting for sure and how it'll lead to the story most people know it for

I really like the interaction with Flavia and Mr Kissing. It was so wholesome and amazing how Mr Kissing just acknowledges how smart Flavia is despite her being a girl
