I´m really starting to find Tsukiko annoying.

I can’t believe I’m making time to write about this stupid book. Japanese writers, why must you write such peculiar but beautiful characters? I feel so much for Tsukiko. Their exchanges. There’s something about the mundane and the proximity of intimacy that makes you yearn.

Kazuo Ishiguro has always written in metaphors and through a nuanced culture. I had to research a couple of things--from the setting, to the system of carers and donors--to get a picture of what was taking place. Technique wise, though, his words have always flowed graciously.

This book forces my mind to wander about nonviolence and equality, religion and blind faith. Class struggle and the war in heaven.

9 freakin chapters in and sherlock leaves my jaw unhinged. This is my first time reading a mystery/holmes book!!!!
