LOVE ✨ GoT meets The Stonewater Kingdom duology.

second half, don’t let me down! 👀

DNF @ 36%. Skimmed through the rest and somehow managed to guess what insane nonsense was coming next. it becomes insanely convoluted, trying to built suspense through the guise of just throwing whatever sticked at the wall. and it doesn’t work.

also realised this is the same author as the Hidden Pictures (a rare 1 star) so i should’ve noticed sooner 🙈

no full review, not worth the effort. ✨

‘After all, isn’t it a truth universally acknowledged that a single princess in possession of a kingdom—’ ‘—must be in want of a husband? No, Burgred. No, it most certainly is not.’

I see what you did there, girl 👀

DNF. Started off strong and loved the premise but we quickly devolved into misogynistic territory/male-author-writes-women-disorder and i was totally dumbfounded at a wolf man’s “manhood” being described in great detail seemingly from nowhere lol?? i daren’t risk reading further.

incredibly excited for where this goes, strongest fantasy opening in a while! 🗡️

“Few things are worse than squelching along, damp trews chaffing the unmentionables. Harder to sneak when one’s squelching.” ✨

had this one on the shelf since early this year - definitely should’ve picked it up sooner! this is so (unexpectedly) fun?!

🌲 👀
