Find the female and male characters a little hard to relate to. Avery isn’t as emotionally mature as the men in this book and I am not as man hating as the women in this book. I understand she is taking a strategy and fictionalizing it so it is fairly broad and generalized to appeal to a diverse population of women. I am trying to focus on the merit and the message more than the story line and tropes.
