Great book…Langston Hughes is such a talent man..feel like I’m reading a book from today

Haven’t read literature like this in a while so getting back use to the Black southern dialect. Otherwise I am looking forward to it

Great story so far. First book I read that really highlighted the role some African kingdoms played in the transatlantic slave trade. However, it still demonstrates that the type of slavery is vastly diff from what the Europeans were doing and I think it’s important to acknowledge that, so people don’t run with it.

Much disappointment with the Council. Didn’t really follow Ubers relationship with the District, but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand this was nothing but a capitalistic venture. Uber used DC.
