so far so good! we’re starting to see the beginning of Ilya’s depression being addressed.

I’m so nervous right now; I just got to the part where Andromeda is tying herself to the rock and i already know Perseus is going to come and mess everything up

Just finished Medusa’s part and what the heck, like it is making me dislike him more and more as a man. Prior to this book, the only information I knew about Perseus was that he was a man who slayed Medusa to get something from the Gods but this is crazy. I understand he has some issues but to kill someone who did nothing but help you is crazyyy. If there’s some underlying meaning i’m not getting please lmk.

Got to the Medusa part and I am unsure on how to feel about it. Although it does not seem as if this is the typical depiction of her (she still being a woman), I am still curious of the naivety that she is displaying.

The book is good so far, however I am having issues with Danae coddling of Perseus as it has almost given mother complex where we cannot separate himself as a person from her. While I understand that the situation in which he grew up with in was not normal, it still made me annoyed to see him block his mother’s opportunities when it’s obvious he couldn’t provide better.

So far so good! Just got to where her father sends her off and ngl I started tearing up a bit.
