i can’t understand him at all. at first, i thought he was a people pleaser, he wrote the letter for Reymond even after he originally said no. but when Reymond asked him to go to a “whorehouse” he said no and was firm with it. i think he might just do what’s convenient for him. it wasn’t convenient to argue about the letter, and he wanted Reymond to like him, so he did it.
