Watched Terminator 2 for the first time last night so I could read the essay this morning

DFW came a little more loathsome than I expected but it makes sense given he’s a fiction writer. I disagree with some of what he said about it (kid was not that annoying)

Back in new fire was interesting to read given the hyper-online nature of relationships/dating for young people

The circular ruins is my favorite story so far.

Pierre Menard, author of Don Quixote is sticking with me though. Through a vague understanding of a book he read as a child and an education in Spanish, he decides to attempt to write Don Quixote by coming to the same story independently. He dedicated his entire life to this.
