Re-trying this challenge. Reading 1 bad law a day for the next ten days until this book is finished. Today’s chapter is on Voter registration and suppression

Decided to take a peek at some of the reviews as I’m now halfway through the book. There are several comparisons to Verity. While I have not read nor watched the film, I am noticing that this book feels like a mix of different books I’ve read (one being a Frieda’s The Housemaid which some say is also a story she copied). Started off strong, now struggling to get through but determined to finish. Disappointing!

Mixed feelings. I love the audiobook and the attention to detail with the real world sounds but not really interested in the story itself. Ugh 😩 Going to finish since it’s a quick read

It’s a cute read so far

Getting back to this book because locking in with my finances is a top priority for me!

I don’t remember why I DNF’d this book the first time I tried to read it. This book is equal parts hilarious as it is corny. I’m surprisingly having a good time with this read 😩

I am really struggling with one but I’m going to finish it

Wtf is this lol. This is not what I expected but then again I’m not sure what I expected. Color me intrigued thus far!
