Really could have used a further proofread.
The first 200 pages or so are covered on the author's youtube channel. The last 50 pages are where the value lies. This book would have been about 50 pages shorter if there hadn't been such wide margins and extra blank pages, something I would expect a permaculturalist to try to avoid. Author calls revenue, 'profit', apparently unaware of the difference.

This book is depressing. The future that could have been. :(

Fantastic beginner/novice gardening introduction. Great layout, well written, and very useful diagrams/illustrations. I will be recommending this book to anyone that asks me for the book to read for getting started or keeping going after a first or second season.
I've read some of this info before, but it's taken years of reading blogs and articles when I hear a new term and get curious. START HERE!

Interesting design thoughts thus far for simply setting up a garden, long before deciding what to grow or actually putting any seeds in the ground. Very thorough.

Great reference, and really increased my interest in growing tomatoes.

Not terrible. Lots of info, but not as much as I'd hoped about why some plants make good or bad companions, just that they do. Definitely setup to be a good reference, not as much a book for evening reading.

Really odd mix of personal stories, the authors life, and a biography about her father.

Starting to not suck so bad.

Completed, though this book appears to have no ending.

Finally, some of the things I've wanted to have happen, have happened. Now to see the fallout.
