This book is so weird. The circle people are very cult like for technology and surveillance in the name of progress and openness. Still unsure I like it but want to know where this is going.

Audio for Patrick pov is excruciatingly slow. And then Nina speaks normally. Changing the speed is kind of annoying. Might have to just continue to eyeball read without listening. I just love the accents tho.

Dear Diary scene is hilarious. Extra funny listening to it while reading.

I'm liking it so far but need to stop immersive reading it. The audio book and book don't match up. The added Lala's when it doesn't say her name or it says Stella instead. And other words added in or rephrased is killing me!

"Make them pay you what they would a white man" I love when a female author says anything like this. Whether it's pay, confidence, whatever it may be that females need to have equal to a white man. This line alone already has me and I can't wait to keep reading this book.
