But, I kept going because I love Elsie & her writing and I figured I would eventually love these characters. I was right. When he took her into the city and saw how she glows when she was out of that shitty judgey small town? I fell in love. I love Bailey, her character was so loveable. Once I got to the part where his dumba** thinks giving her his last name will change the way a small town thought about her, I also wanted to DNF. Because I grew up in a small town. If they don't like you it does not matter who you marry. They will always treat you like shit.
