Currently doing tandem and both these books are phenomenal. You cannot tell me that Sarah did not intend for them to be read in tandem because they fit like 2 puzzle pieces.

So good so far. Definitely worth the hype. Took a while to get into as urban fantasy is a bit different for me but it’s done really well and the characters are really likeable. Only thing is I don’t know what planet is where and find the world confusing but doesn’t deter from the plot!

So good. Perfect pave, great world building, plot is 10/10!!

Was a ‘fun read’ at the start but when the tension left so did my desire to read the rest of the book. Brant’s character became less developed and I don’t even know when both of their sibling love turned into something else but it’s a bit weird.

Amazing book yet again but Diem is pmo. The naïveté is feeling false now like where is her brain. I know she’s always in denial but this is next level with her powers in the realms. Now let’s talk about Luther. Diem is so selfish and clearly has no idea what’s going on around her because how can she not tell that Luther is INJURED. Also why can’t he just say he’s pmo too.

When I say the perfectly written fantasy, I mean it. Love Diem, love Luther (even though idrk him yet because of the amazing SLOW BURN) ughhhhheheheheh OBSESSED

Right it’s a well written book. I am enjoying it but it’s a bit boring. It’s a very straightforward, single layered plot and I don’t feel anything. Rune’s about to be burned alive? I literally don’t care. Gideon’s going to kill himself saving her? I literally feel nothing. It’s a good palette cleanser but I don’t think I’ll read the second book unless there’s a big plot twist.

It’s a well written good book! I don’t really feel a connection to any of the characters though unfortunately. I like them I just don’t LOVE them. Also this book does not leave you having nice dreams, had such a scary nightmare last night😂

At first I didn’t think I would like this book but I love the tension and just really liking the plot and characters!
